PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE STUDY
“Purpose Driven Life-What On Earth Am I Here For?”
Starts September 17 and runs 6 weeks
There are 4 different sessions that are being offered. Pick the one that works best with your schedule and we will see you then!
Tuesdays: 10:00 & 6:30
Books are $10.00 and will be available this Sunday at church. If finances are a problem, please take a book and come join us anyway. Your book expense is covered!
The other day as I was just sitting in God’s presence, I was wondering…”Why am I here? What are the next steps for my life and my ministry at First Christian Church”. Truth be told we have all thought about our purpose here on earth. Rick Warren says the most basic question everyone faces in life is “Why am I here? What is my purpose?”
The Purpose Driven Life takes us on a spiritual journey and goes deeper, applying it to the lifestyle of individual Christians changing their lives. This book study helps readers understand God’s incredible plan for their lives and how to begin to live the life God created them to live.
· We were planned for God’s pleasure: so your first purpose is to offer real worship.
· We were formed for God’s family: so your second purpose is to enjoy real fellowship.
· We were created to become like Christ: so your third purpose is to learn real discipleship.
· We were shaped for serving God: so your fourth purpose is to practice real ministry.
· We were made for mission: so your fifth purpose is to live out real evangelism.
I truly think this study will be life changing even if you have done it before. My prayer is that everyone will read the book, take part in a study group and share in this awesome spiritual journey.
